From Arusha, venture into Tarangire which is also famed for its unique species (many endemic); there are more than 500 resident and migratory species here. From Tarangire fly into the Eastern Serengeti where you can experience more of a “general safari”, though there are a large number of eagles, hawks and buzzards which nest in the area and will keep the twitchers enthralled. After the Serengeti, fly to Rubundo Island and spend 4 nights exploring this isolated island. This region is a birder’s dream – with hundreds of unique species (largely water based). In fact, new species are regularly being identified!
Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will be met and transferred to Machweo Wellness Retreat where you will spend two nights.View Machweo Wellness Retreat
