Migration & More
Northern CircuitCombining the famed Serengeti and the ancient Ngorongoro Crater is perfect for most first or second time safari-goers
Offering diverse experiences, a range of camps and good year-round wildlife numbers, Tanzania’s Northern Circuit really does offer something for everyone. From the huge herds of elephant in Tarangire to the scenic Ngorongoro Crater and the endless plains of the Serengeti, the Northern Circuit is a popular safari option – with both driving and flying between regions a possibility. The Great Migration typically migrates throughout the Serengeti from mid-October to mid-August (and between these dates the majority of the herds migrate across to Kenya’s Maasai Mara) – our team will ensure you’re placed in the best camps to ensure migration viewing opportunities, and if you’re lucky, you may even see some of the famed “river crossings”!
