Uganda and Rwanda are the best places to go for gorilla trekking. Lying just 2 hours from Kigali (the Rwandan capital) is the stunning Parc National des Volcans, this is where many of the Rwandan lodges are located. There are some great lodges in Rwanda and Uganda but we insist on working with only the best and most reliable, hence we haven't listed as many as we did for places like Tanzania.

High end: Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge run by Governors Camp or the Virunga Lodge
Mid end: The Gorilla’s Nest

In Uganda we like to bring our clients to Bwindi national park to visit the gorillas and a great lodge here is the Volcanoes Bwindi.
