TrueSafari Moments

Guides & Vehicles

guidesWe are proud of our guides!

They are all Tanzanian and have many years of experience in the bush. They are highly trained professionals, friendly people and great linguists. They all speak perfect English and we have guides that speak German, Spanish and French, so please let us know if you have a specific linguistic requirement and we will make sure you are catered for. Our guides are passionate about the bush and nothing pleases them more than seeing you go home happy and full of great stories.

All our guides have great knowledge of the wildlife and, like many people, some have their own preferences and favorite animals or are highly specialized in certain fields like birding or even butterflies.

Vehicles:
We use Toyota Landcruisers for our safaris with a maximum of 5 passengers per vehicle only. These 4X4s are comfortable, reliable, and in our opinion the best vehicles for coping with the demanding terrain and climatic conditions of Africa (they have won the Paris-Dakar rally!).

We also use extended vehicles for bigger groups and families.

In addition to our great standard vehicles we can provide luxury vehicles which also have only 4 passenger seats but are slightly bigger than our ‘standard’ vehicles; they have a fridge (standard vehicles have a cool box) and slightly bigger windows.

If you have any special requirements in terms of guides and/or vehicles, contact us
and we will be delighted to make any arrangements necessary.
