Rachel was born in 1982 in northern Zambia and grew up between Tanzania en Kenya. Her parents run bush camps and have worked in the safari business their whole life. She practically grew up in the bush and has a tremendous love for nature. Rachel left the African continent for the first time of her life when she was 18 to study English literature and photography in Leeds, GB. Her biggest passion is photographing people and wildlife. Rachel also runs the Maasai Women Art Project and is fluent in Swahili.
