Elisa has a profound understanding of how and why nature is all about balance - something he enjoys conveying to his guests. Born and brought up in Moshi, Elisa started his career as a guide after finishing school.

He left Tanzania, worked for a wildlife research project in Kenya and, after spending time in Germany, studied at the Mweka Wildlife College in Tanzania before taking up a position at what was then Green Footprint Adventures. Elisa’s favourite animal is the elephant – “they are clever, just like human beings”. His enthusiasm and knowledge will enhance your appreciation of the bush.

He is always calm and quietly conveys his wealth of knowledge to the guests he guides.
